Countermeasures

After 9/11, President Bush and government officials asked all Americans to be vigilant in their daily lives and report suspicious activity to counter the threat of domestic terrorism.

President Obama's administration is asking all Americans to be vigilant in their daily lives and report suspicious information about health care reform.

From Gateway Pundit-
Today, Barack Obama initiated the first stage of his Marxist snitch network.
The White House asked supporters to report anyone who publicly opposes President Obama’s plan to implement a government-centric overhaul of the health care system.

From the White House website:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Rather than be afraid of this overreach by the White House, I think Americans should use it to our advantage. Send the White House an email about every 'fishy' thing you have seen about health care, like 'you'll be able to keep your plan', 'this reform will save money', 'every senior citizen will get the care they need' and so on. Maybe after a few days of emails running 10 to 1 against socialized medicine, the White House will figure out that we don't want this debacle.

This is a direct line to the White House, and your president is asking for your help in reporting 'fishy' claims. I suggest all Americans pitch in to help.

Ouch - the unintended consequences of overreaction by the Bush administration has led to this. "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Ben Franklin

(This was my email)

To: flag@whitehouse.gov

I came across this website which I believe is very deceiving and spreading disinformation about the President's true plan for socialized medicine.

I sent them my own post on health care, since I'm sure I'm already on the White House's list. After all, DHS says I'm a right wing terrorist since I served in Iraq and planned a Tea Party.
