Obama waves the white flag
Update tonite-
The White House has declared defeat on this, which is a good thing, of course. I halfway expected President Obama and the far left loons in the Congress to cut funding for the military and for veterans. But what really shocked me in all this was former Gen Shinseki, now the head of the VA. If he supported this measure, than he is the idiot I took him to be after the black beret uproar. If he didn't support this measure, then he should have offered his resignation rather than even put such an asinine proposal forward. Either way, he is an ass and does not deserve my respect.
