For the civilians out there, Pink 6 refers to a soldier's wife. Most military units have callsigns that use a number system. Unit commanders are always 6, the ranking NCO is 7, and the second in command is 5. So Pink 6 refers to the thought that although we are tough warriors who take no crap from our soldiers or from the enemy, we usually defer to the real commander at home.
