Red white and blue Christmas

For all of you that say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas,
for everyone that thinks the US is evil and we should feel guilty,
for everyone who decries lots of lights as wasting our precious resources-

My Christmas tree in lights with Old Glory on top. After all, 50 stars on top are better than one.

Dave,

What is the connection between Christianity and a patriotism bordering on nationalism? Spot says that there isn't any.

Spot will probably post on this subject before Christmas.

And by the way, Dave, Merry Christmas.

Spot, you use the word nationalism like it's dirty or obscene. Webster says it is: 1: loyalty and devotion to a nation; especially : a sense of national consciousness exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups
I think the American system of freedom and democracy, founded in Christian values, is exactly what should be promoted to the rest of the world.

No, Dave, I am quite sure that one star would be much better, the one star guiding the Wise Men to the Prince of Peace.
