The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves today

Bernard B. Kerik, a former New York police commissioner who rose to national prominence, was sentenced to four years in prison on Thursday after pleading guilty to eight felony charges, including tax fraud and lying to White House officials.

President Barack Obama hailed Wednesday's one-year-old economic stimulus law as an accomplishment that staved off another Great Depression and kept up to 2 million people on the job.

I'm pretty sure none of the Founding Fathers would recognize a country where 'lying to the White House' gets you thrown in jail, yet lying from the White House is the pinnacle of statesmanship.
