I just got back from seeing Monsters vs Aliens with my kids. Pretty much stock humor for the kiddies, but there was definitely a military guy with a sense of humor involved. Here's a picture of the medals worn by General Monger, the guy in charge of the secret area 51 base-
Check out the one upper left-it's a spoof of an Army Combat Infantry Badge. But instead of a rifle, it has a golf club. Here's the real deal-
That's a nice subtle touch for an animated kids movie. I'll bet not one in two hundred people that see it will get the joke.
