Why I'm not a party member

This is why the Republican brand is suffering today. The party that touts itself as small government and fiscally responsible is telling me to go ahead and make a donation and the government will pay for it!
This is another one of those asinine attempts at campaign finance reform, and succeeds only in driving people like me away from politics in general.

Ron Carey ought to be embarressed to have his name attached to this.
