Veteran's memorial destroyed

Hopefully there's a semi-normal explanation for this. Some drunk high school kids, or maybe a combat vet with PTSD. But it sure sounds like someone was making a statement by repeatedly ramming their car into a veteran's memorial in a small town in Texas. This is sad.
