Appeal Part 1

We have some good buzz going into today's ceremony to present the Appeal For Courage to Congress.

There's Scott Johnson at Powerline,
The Dawn Patrol from Greyhawk at the Mudville Gazette,
Michelle Malkin at michellemalkin.com (aka SPC Travis Quinlan's favorite website)
Chad the Elder at Fraters Libertas,
Spree at Wake Up America.
the Army Times has us off the opinion pages and on to the news,
W Thomas Smith Jr at The National Review Online
and a quick mention at The Politico.

Not bad so far. If you see any that I've missed, please let me know at thuljunior72@yahoo.com

Here is the official press release:
To Reporters/Editors, please note the following item from the Daybook:

2:30 p.m. GOP-IRAQ SUPPORT _ Senators Lindsey Graham and Saxby Chambliss , House Republican Leader John Boehner, Republican Whip Roy Blunt and Chief Deputy Whip Eric Cantor will accept a petition - the Appeal for Courage - signed by more than 2,700 U.S. service members urging Congress to support the mission in Iraq .

Great job ya'll are doing on more than one front, which isn't fair to you, yet you don't complain.

I sooooo wish we could all do more to help.

Thank you so much for doing this. I'm a vet, so it drives me crazy I can't sign on to this, but I want you to know that I have written e-mails to the Washington Post and the New York Times, and 60 Minutes about you guys two times to try to encourage them to report on you. They can't say they haven't heard about this!!! They just refuse to write about it. We'll see who reports about it tomorrow. The politicians also need to call a press conference to advertise it.. The more pub, the more signatures you will get.
Take care and hang in there!
